Under Floor Heating

There was a time that under floor heating was for a choice for the seriously wealthy and the pioneer owner builders.

Not so today. Under floor heating is now a realistic option for any new home or even for your renovation.

Under floor heating works as a slow-release radiant heat bank providing consistent, even temperature

throughout your entire home and is clearly the most economical and efficient means of heating.

The thermal mass of your concrete slab provides optimum thermal comfort at a lower temperature,

reducing ‘over-heat’ losses.

These systems are generally used in large spaces, and are particularly appealing to those looking to

reduce their electricity usage. They have been popular throughout Europe for many years and are

now becoming increasingly popular within Australia.

In-Screed Hydronic Heating

This is the most efficient and responsive method of under floor hydronic heating, and can be installed in either a new build or into your existing home.

In-screed heating turns an entire floor into a radiant heater, warming the entire area in the most

responsive and efficient way.

Pipes are installed onto a Pipe Positioning Board 200mm apart. The board is laid directly onto a structural slab.

Pipes are then screeded over with concrete to a minimum thickness of 50mm.
